Do Eyelash Extensions hurt?
No. The procedure it actually very relaxing, in fact most clients fall asleep. The client lays on a comfortable massage table with their eyes closed while the technician applies the individual eyelash extensions. The extensions do not hurt either. They are very lightweight and are not noticeable to the client.

How long to Eyelash Extensions last?
Eyelash Extensions will last the length of time that the natural eyelash growth cycle lasts. The amount of time depends on the individual person and their daily activities. Typically touch-ups will be needed every 2-4 weeks.

How often should I get touch-ups?
It is recommended getting a touch up every 2 to 4 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. Your natural eyelashes fall off every 45 - 60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. Other factors such as exposure to steam or touching your eyes a lot may cause the extensions to fall sooner. A touch up is needed to fill in any lashes that have fallen. Touch ups average about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Can I wear mascara with my Eyelash Extensions?
Yes, you can wear mascara however, your Eyelash Extensions give the illusions of wearing mascara. If you do choose to apply mascara make sure that it is water-based. You do not want to use oil-based or waterproof mascara as it will break down the bonding agent in the adhesive.

Can I use an eyelash curler with my Extensions?
No, the regular eyelash curler will break or damage the extensions. If you do need to use an eyelash curler it is recommended to use a heated eyelash curler.

How long will it take to get a full set of Extensions?
The full-set application typically takes about 2 hours and is very relaxing. You will lay on a comfortable massage table with your eyes closed for the entire application. You will then have an under eye pad to cover your lower lashes. Your technician will then apply the Eyelash Extensions one by one. Feel free to take a nap.

Could I have an allergic reaction to the adhesive?
Allergic reactions are rare but can occur if you are sensitive to certain cosmetics or adhesives.   There are different grades of eyelash extension glue that vary from sensitive to strong.  Make sure to let your lash tech know if you do have any allergies so they can use a medical grade glue or more sensitive glue.  Also the lash adhesive does NOT touch the skin – the lash extensions are glued to your own natural lashes about 1-2mm from the lash line so this will reduce the risk of developing an allergic reaction.

Can I swim, shower ect. with my Eyelash Extensions?
Of course! Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent and after the adhesive has had 24 hours to completely adhere to your natural eyelash you can continue with your normal daily activities.
