Please follow these simple tips to maintain your eyelash extensions.

 

Aftercare Tips

First 24 hours: do not contact water with lashes, or go tanning in a tanning bed

First 2 days: do not steam face, wash face with hot water

About 2 weeks after DO come in for a touch up session

 

DO’s- Daily Maintenance

DO use ONLY water based(oil-free) eye make-up and eye make-up remover. Use a q-tip(or something similar) to gently remove eye make-up.

DO be gentle while cleansing the eye area and pat lashes dry.

DO use a longer life coating sealer. They are a specially formulated coating sealer that will help protect and extend the life of your lashed from harmful particles such as dirt and oil.

DO schedule a touch-up session: The natural lash life cycle is about 90-100 days and the eyelash extensions may fall out during this period of negligent care by client. Touch-ups are recommended to be done approx every 2 weeks to replace any lashes that may have fallen off within that time period.

 

DON’TS- Daily Maintenance

Don’t use waterproof mascara!!

Don’t use manual lash curlers: This will break both extensions and natural lashes! Instead, we recommend using a heated curler specifically for eyelash extensions. Use to curl lashed only on the tips of the extensions- do not heat from root of eyelashes!!

Don’t receive acidic facials: Acidic peels such as Chemical Peels. Alpha and/or Beta Hydroxy Peels will dissolve the bonding agent of the eyelash extensions.

Don’t excessively rub lashes or eyes while washing face.

Don’t use oil-based eye products around or on the eyes. Oil-based products around or on the eyes will dissolve the bonding agent of the eyelash extensions.
